With expertise spanning global retail, CPG, shopper marketing, and not-for-profit sectors, Huma is recognised as a thought leader and change agent for ambitious organisations committed to people and customer-centric goals.
Throughout her career, Huma has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision. Before stepping into the role of Country Leader, she served as Commercial Director, where she led transformational initiatives in talent development, capabilities enhancement, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction.
Huma's background in entrepreneurial leadership, sales process innovation, and capability development has allowed her to continually create differentiated business strategies that accelerate customer success. Her unwavering commitment to building sustainable growth for clients and customers has driven significant value, particularly in helping retailers improve their ability to serve their customers effectively.
Huma's experience includes working with blue-chip organisations such as Danone, Birds Eye, and Sainsbury's Nectar 360, where her reputation for transforming customer relationships and P&Ls earned her the prestigious ‘Best Supplier of the Year’ award from both Sainsbury's and Nisa.
In addition to her corporate career, Huma has held a diverse range of roles, including corporate fundraising for the World Wildlife Fund and serving as Managing Director of Sales for global culture change agency Hoxby. She is also the founder of her own psychology-based sales capability business, SalesPsych Ltd, launched in 2018.
Huma holds a Master of Science in Occupational and Business Psychology from Kingston University, where she graduated with distinction and ranked top of her class. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, along with qualifications in Neuro-linguistic Programming, Workplace Coaching, and accreditation as a Psychometric Practitioner with the British Psychological Society. Passionate about mental health, Huma has served as Board Advisor to a Mental Health Charity.
